The special anti-bacterial properties of Merino fibers do not burden your body with foreign substances such as silver ions or chemical treatments of the fibers.

At the same time, it protects against the effects of flame flash when the resistance of natural merino material is up to 570 C°. Thanks to the fact that natural merino does not melt like synthetic materials, there is no secondary damage to the skin when exposed to flame. That is why it is used by NATO units on FOB (Forward Operational Base) after the ban on the use of synthetic T-shirts (Polyamide, Polyester, Lycra, etc.) after a series of devastating secondary burns during IED attacks in missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The MERINO 165® designation is a brand of fibers with a diameter of only 16.5 microns and originally from New Zealand with processing in the European Union.
