    New for 2022 with a colored frame in FDE color.
    PDP = Performance Duty Pistol is a universal weapon suitable for service, defense, and sports use.
    The PDP series is produced in two frame size versions. Full Size (barrel length 4", 4.5", 5") and Compact (4" and 5") for now only in 9 mm Luger caliber.
    The main difference is in the length of the handle. While the PDP Full Size holds an 18-round magazine and has a longer handle, so it will suit shooters with larger hands, the PDP Compact models practically copy the shorter handle of the Walther PPQ pistols in length and hold a 15-round magazine.
    The basic technical data of the Walther PDP Compact 5" are 135 mm height, 34 mm width, and the overall length of the weapon is 184 mm.
    The most striking feature of the massive slide is the oversized SuperTerrain grips for better control. They greatly facilitate handling with and without gloves in all weather conditions.
    All PDP pistols are Optics Ready = they are prepared for the installation of pistol collimators.
    The cover plate of the collimator base exactly copies the slide profile and after unscrewing it, pistol collimators from practically all leading manufacturers can be installed using the appropriate adapters.

    Superior sights are a combination of a low adjustable rear sight in both axes and a prismatic front sight. For faster target acquisition, the sights are equipped with white dots.
    The 102 mm barrel with a polygonal bore has a 1/10" pitch and a graduated chamber (so-called Luger recoil) ensuring consistent initial bullet speeds and high functional reliability.
    The improved new Performance Duty Trigger is characterized by a very soft and smooth operation with a resistance of 25 N and a short reset of 7 mm / 11 N.
    This trigger is, by the way, rated as the best in its category = "Best in Class"
    The ergonomic handle with a surface texture of pyramids ensures a good grip of the weapon. This is an ideal compromise for a good grip with/without gloves even in adverse conditions = sweaty, frozen hands.
    Three inclined large finger grooves in the front of the handle are intended to increase the versatility of the weapon grip for each hand.
    The shooter can further fine-tune the handle using three interchangeable handle backs.
    The modularity of the weapon is also increased by the Picatinny mounting rail for installing additional devices and a push-button magazine release with optional orientation.
